A website for solicitors with the SRA number, the badge and the required pages

The pages the SRA expects, in your words

We are not the SRA, and this page is not legal advice. The regulator expects a regulated firm to publish its complaints procedure, and to publish price and service information for the work its transparency rules cover. We build those pages. You supply the wording, because it has to be your procedure and your fees.

The SRA number should be readable without a hunt, and the digital badge should be the one the SRA gives the firm to embed. We do not draw a lookalike badge, and we do not type in a number you have not given us.

The complaints procedure wants a page of its own. How a client complains to the firm, and how that complaint can go on to the Legal Ombudsman and to the SRA, in the wording you are required to use. A sentence in a footer is not that page.

Price transparency is the same idea. Where the rules say a service must show its costs, the site needs a page that shows them, including what is not included and the likely disbursements, again in figures you approve. We will not invent a conveyancing fee to make a template look finished.

Practice areas are a list you write. Family, conveyancing, wills, crime, employment: only the ones the firm does. Padding the menu with work you do not take is how a site creates the wrong enquiry.

Count those pages. A home page, a complaints page, one or more price pages, and the practice areas. Foundational stops at three pages, so it is a poor fit for a regulated firm that has to publish all of that. Expert is the package we suggest. Expert Pro is the step after that if you also want a client login. It is a login or a booking link, not an assumption that a law firm needs both.

There is a fictional solicitor demo further down this page. It is labelled as a demo. It is not a client. The trades hub links on to plumbers, electricians, accountants, salons, and the Nuneaton, Bedworth, Hinckley and Coventry pages.

Prices, knowing the SRA pages take space

The offer page has the full scope. A complaints page and a price page are ordinary pages. They are not a separate product.

First 5 clients

Foundational

£99

£99 for the first 5 clients, then £199

One straightforward will covers the whole £99 site.

Foundational is £99 for the first 5 clients, then £199. It is up to three pages, a form or a booking link, and the domain in your name. One revision, seven days after your words and images are in, then 30 days of fixes. We ask to show the site, a short testimonial and a Google review. No new logo, no shop, no portal. Useful for a very small public site. Tight if the SRA pages are in the brief.

Expert

£499

solicitor: or £9.99 a month (6-month minimum)

£499 once is the package that fits the complaints procedure, the price pages and the practice areas together. The site is larger than Foundational. Search is set up. Two revision rounds. For 12 months the capped support covers fixes, checks that the site is up and the form sends, and a couple of small text or photo changes a month. Two weeks from the day the content is ready.

Expert Pro

£699

£699 once adds further pages, pages for areas you serve, and either a booking link or a client login, with 24 months of that support. Choose it when a login is part of the brief. Do not choose it only because the firm is regulated. Expert already holds the SRA pages.

The domain is registered in your name.

After the included support, Care is £15 a month and Care Plus is £35 a month. You can cancel any time. The offer page lists what each one covers.

Questions from solicitor firms

You remain responsible for the regulatory wording. We are responsible for putting it on a site that is yours.

Where do the SRA number and the digital badge go?

Where a visitor can see them, typically on the home page and in the footer. The badge is the embed the SRA provides. We do not fake it.

Do we need a separate complaints page?

Yes. The procedure, including how a complaint can be taken to the Legal Ombudsman and the SRA, needs a page of its own. You provide the text.

What about price-transparency pages?

Where the SRA transparency rules cover a service you offer, that service needs its costs published, in figures you approve. We will not draft a fee for you.

Can you fill in practice areas we might add later?

No. The menu lists the work the firm does now. Adding a department you do not have creates enquiries you cannot take.

Why is Expert the usual package?

Because the complaints page, the price pages and the practice areas do not fit the three-page cap on Foundational. Expert Pro is only the better fit if you also want a client login or a booking link.
