Electricians

A website for electricians that shows the scheme, Part P and the extra work

Scheme, Part P, then the work people search for

Someone hiring an electrician is often checking a badge before they check a price. NICEIC and NAPIT are different schemes. We put up the one you are on, with the registration number you give us. If you are on neither, we do not borrow a logo to fill the gap. A made-up approval is worse than a plain page.

Part P is the building-regulations rule for electrical work in homes. Customers ask whether a job is notifiable, and they ask who signs it off. The page should answer that in ordinary language, using your explanation, not a copied legal paragraph we do not stand behind. If a job goes through building control instead of a scheme, say that.

EV chargers and solar are not a footnote if you sell them. A householder searching for a charger is not the same person as one booking a consumer-unit change. Rewires, charge points and panels deserve their own headings, and usually their own pages. That is the practical reason Expert fits this trade more often than a three-page site.

Domestic, commercial, or both: write the one you do. We will not add “solar installer” because it looks modern, and we will not claim an OZEV listing or a manufacturer approval you have not got.

Expert, at £499 once, is the package we point electricians to when chargers, solar and day-to-day domestic work all need to be findable. Foundational still exists if you only want a short page with the scheme, the phone number and a contact form. Expert Pro is for area pages on top, or for a booking link if you take survey slots that way.

The other trade pages, and the town pages, are collected on websites for trades.

Prices for an electrician’s site

Still one payment each. Read the offer before you assume a portal or a new logo is included. Neither is, on the starter package.

First 5 clients

Foundational

£99

£99 for the first 5 clients, then £199

One consumer-unit change covers the whole £99 site.

If the whole firm fits on a short site, Foundational is £99 for the first 5 clients, then £199. You get up to three pages and a form or an existing booking link. The domain goes in your name. There is a single revision, a week once your pictures have arrived, and fixes for the month after that. In exchange we ask to put the site on show, use a short testimonial, and ask you for a Google review. Hosting sits on a free tier. Logos, shops and logins are not part of this price.

Expert

£499

electrical: or £9.99 a month (6-month minimum)

Most electricians who fit chargers or solar land here. £499 once buys a larger site than the starter, with search set up and two revision rounds. For 12 months we deal with faults, check that pages load and the form still sends, and handle a couple of modest wording or photo changes each month. Allow two weeks from the day the content is ready.

Expert Pro

£699

£699 once, when you also want a page for each town, or a login, or a booking link wired in. Support of the same kind runs for 24 months. It is booking or a login, agreed up front. Not both, unless that was the deal.

Questions from electricians

The scheme on the page has to be the scheme on your certificate.

Do you show NICEIC, NAPIT, or both?

Whichever you hold. Some firms are registered with one, some with the other, some with both. We do not drop a logo onto the header to make the firm look bigger.

How should Part P be described?

As the building-regulations rule for electrical work in homes, in the words you would use on the doorstep. If the customer needs to know who notifies the job, that sentence belongs on the page.

Do EV chargers and solar need separate pages?

If you sell both, yes. People search for them as different jobs. A single paragraph at the bottom of a rewires page is easy to miss, which is why a larger site is the usual recommendation.

Can the site claim approvals we are still applying for?

No. List the work you do today and the registrations you hold today. A pending application can be mentioned only if you are happy for it to read as pending.

Which package suits an electrical contractor?

Expert, in most cases. Foundational is there if a short page really is enough. Expert Pro adds the area pages, and either booking or a client login, when the firm has grown past a single service list.
